An Irish factory owner was unsure about the exact sum he needed to pay in an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help.

Calling her into his office he said, "You went to University didn´t you, well I need some help. If I were to give you EUR 20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?"
